Oven Operator - 1st Shift

Job Description

The Oven Operator ensures that all product is produced to meet specifications and established standards required by the customer and the company. To ensure product quality and standards, the Oven Operator will Test and conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished product. Using variety of testing devices and procedures to assure product quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with other personnel to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Properly adjusts production machine to ensure efficiency, quality, and accuracy with minimal loss of product.
  • Responsible for daily set-up and operation of production machine and operates machine to production standards.
  • Performs preventive maintenance and inspects equipment on a regular basis.
  • Performs basic maintenance on machine.
  • Assists Maintenance Mechanics with troubleshooting activities as needed.
  • Maintains accurate inventory of supplies needed to operate machine.
  • Handwritten documentation of product specs.
  • Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
  • Performs analytical tests on samples, using instrumentation and equipment and performs calculations to measure factors.
  • Tests product to verify factors.
  • Collects and records results of sampling and testing to maintain record of product quality.
  • Collects, measures, and weighs samples of materials.

The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications
  • Able to pass the HACCP exam with 90 days of employment.
  • Must complete Quality, Safety training
  • Good communication, math, read and writing skills.
  • Able work in a fast pace, repetitive and controlled temperature work environment.
  • Frequently transports/ push/pull/move up 50 lbs. or more.
  • Quality, safety minded, reliable, precise, and self-motivated.
  • Must keep attendance record at 5 points or less, 3 write-ups or less in accordance to MPM s policies.
  • Adhere all company policies, safety rules, and regulations.
  • Work in a team and diverse work environment.
  • Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends.
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
